At a poetry workshop, after this poem, I mentioned this schema.
Toddlers carrying things along with them - transporting schema
The poet said that the last part of the poem was about grunding like a child carrying a favorite rock with them. Now I see why my kid collects rocks and paints them.
I collect eucalyptus leaves, pine branches and cones, all fallen on the ground in the belief that I extend their lifetime by my delight.
German preschools have a nature table.
Another workshop attendee mentioned Eucalyptus confetti. I chimed in about a birthday card I made with eucalyptus cones. About the poem, with bee stings she couldnt appreciate the later part of the poem.
