You have to approach this from two sides.
One is that how often and how much of your favorite food should you eat everyday? Assign your favorite foods as treats for a special day where you want to thnak yourself for some effort, for reaching a goal that is important to you. You should try to reach a sense of moderation with food. This can be reached with mindful eating. Paying attention to your food while eating (no TV, laptop or other distraction). Chewing your food slowly. Tyr to know the history of the food. Appreciate the food with gratitude.
The other is to add healthy fats and proteins to your meals so that you stay full longer and dont feel the need/cravings and can ignore the triggers when your body is already fueled with good nutrition.
