Keeping your pets safe on July 4th
If last week was about keeping the pets safe from the heat wave with monitoring temperature and humidity ( car alarms for kids) , this week it is about keeping them safe from the sound and suddenness of the fireworks. In general if its your first summer with the pet, crate is their oyster, their cave or comfort place where they can be trained. Other ways to keep them cool in the summer.
Checking their microchip to be update is another timely thing to do, if they take the flight approach to the surround sound.
This is for a day but when its your first holiday season, then there is lot more to do, to get the pet acclimatised to the changes.
