Confines of a poem

Dear Writer: Pep Talks & Practical Advice for the Creative Life

"when a poem feels too confining for an idea "
After coming across this line in the book, I wondered , what does confined space in a poem feel like. The word itself has some finesse, I looked for its etymology. border. what about border's etymology. board. How are they related? board like boarding school. I have been in a boarding school. confining it is.

The writing board
took on stripes
of yellow
blobs of geen
blue smudges
dark blue
finger prints
red rain

A receptacle
of Pollock's
pent up energy

Who sheared the fog from the mountain?

While reading the poetry book, I was reminded of music from 25 years ago. kismat se tum hamko mile ho
