The park is alive

For the past few weeks, butterflies have been buzzing all around the park.

Today, the left field was full of pigeons. Not as many as passenger pigeons. Telegraph and railroad advancements were a death knell for the passenger pigeons.

Last week we saw a pair of lovebirds. Another day, a vermilion flycatcher. About a month ago, another pretty bird.

Apparently the butterflies around are wanderign aimlessly and some of them could be looking for their winter spot for hibernation.

There was a couple who danced. The lady in summer dress. Nothing elaborate.. Just a twirl 10 steps further. Reminded me of a dream from decades.
