Shhh! by Barroux

Shhh! is a wonderful story of winding down kids to sleep. Its in the Good night style with each page ending with a 'shhh!'..
The illustrations are ultra cute. With simple language and consistency, you see great imaginationa t display. When we (kids and I) came to the whale song, we looked up those sounds and with the Toucan's beak, we took a detour to Darwin's beaks of finches and a bit of human evolution after the giraffe taking a nap in the clouds in the story.
The age range is perfect
