Rising Tide: The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 and How it Changed America

This week Mississipi is in news for its rising tide of reading scores of fourth graders.

It reminded me of the Telugu story of flood. What is referred to as "human storm" where everything different collided.

Having seen only a 6 inch rain fall, I cannot imaginehow a 15 inch rain fall would look like.
