Swathe of Colour

Although I mean swatch of paint, I keep saying Swathe and that too often.

At Birds of a Feather, for collage were small scraps of painted sheets,
like parts of a triptych.
Colour applied such that the brush's passage shows.
The white it swept shows
The colour that leapt shows
The colour that slipped

Baby's mind

Thats not fair crime and punishment in a preschoolers mind

like an expert's bag contents

and purpose is magic

A Kit is fun
like a cupcake
instead of a cake
mini pennants
spell BIRTHDAY
just the same
