Count to believe

A Bloom A Cactus bloom A Pink Cactus bloom A Shiny Pink Cactus bloom The fifth had all these Left to right and back around a bush my eyes reconnoitered for the exact number of Leilia Hackberry butterflies Seven *************** Supertition Mts, AZ

Crossing the creek

I looked down
to find stones to
put my feet on

Once I had my hold
I looked up
for the next step

many medium
purple butterflies
rose from nowhere

I flit from there
before the
dirty water was
all that was there

Until we find

The perfect pair
with just the right angle to stand on
with best former looks

We cant part from the old ones

Even if the sole slants from wear
Even if once rich Golden stripes fade

We cant part from the old ones

Until we find the same.

PS: Tangled ones dont stand a chance.
Who wants to walk like a prisoner?

Call for four hands

A baby boy was taken off a shelf, held on both sides.
When he turned like a pop ball, Father appeared.

Accompaniment

Even when alone
the rhythm of
cooking
once begun
takes over the
hand
possessed
with a mind
to press the
play button
of acoustics.

New reality

Bits of earth thumped up causing the man dressed in formals to bounce. A half crow bar held him in place. With a little bit of synchrony, their hither thither could have been a folk dance. Like the swing transferred to a person from a long wooden pestle pounded into a mortar.

Attire at work

Even with the acacia blooms
the paved path seems
barren without the
warm sage bushes

Work of orange crew
big black gloves
and gardening shears

A tall man stamps
the ground with his feet
and fiddles with a
half crowbar

With his formals
he could pass of
as an engineer of
the building he is
working by

With his light blue gloves
that stop at the wrists
he could be a researcher
in a lab working with
a fine pollination needle

The soil didnt seem stabbed
and there lay a bush that didnt
at the beginning of the week.

Engulfed in thoughts

Huddled in sleep
I could fit an
infant's mosquito net.

When Mirror and Scissor pair

Recall the frustrating moments when you get nothing for something. Thats how I felt many years ago walking out of a hair cuttig place. I wanted the expert to do something about the hair falling into my eyes. Temporarily she pinned it up and chopped the rest not nagging part. All I needed for the big change was a mirror and scissors. And there I had, the result of my handiwork, two bumps of hair right in the front of the head. Nothing short of another hair cut could save my face for the next day at work. And thats how I had a boy cut since then for a whole of six or more years..

Cutting hair sure requires skill.

Tear from the cheek of a repentant old sinner*

Replace all the
contortions of kids
with a calm face

and audio of a
rhythmic dragging up
the voice to make
it more effective

picking up the
oscillations
before they dampen
too much

with mute
Tears of Adults
beautiful
silent
Vestigial.

Frequent Answerers

The beach's ever returning waves are a constant answer to an unposed question.
With the moldable sand that I scooped, with my hand, I made what could have been friums made from boiled rice, first dried in scoops under the sun and then fried for relish. With more scoops, a small well began to form. When the wave, had enough strength to reach me, it smoothed the scoops
and made it look like birds eye view of AZ.
