innovative activities have always been for the first maybe 15 years of my
career on the enterprise side but now that I look at it I realize that maybe the consumer side is the most innovative sector

Channels Type - Channels phases

Evaluation - When price aggregators for flight tickets, ecommerce purchases were comparing prices for a product from different providers, they were shortening your customer journey and getting you closer to making the purchase. With that offering, they were also providing you the awareness of other providers, that you might not be aware of, or other offerings that better fit your needs and thus making you a more satisfied customer. Out of a generic customer, you are now making a segmented customer who fits the needs that are serviced by the current offerings.

 Winning a lottery with vaccination

Th eother day a friend was telling that he came across a post that said, people think that they will win a lottery, but not covid.

You know about all the biases of overestmating and underestimating chances.

A lottery for the vaccinated is a great way of honing in on the overestimation to fight the underestimation.

Another clever cashing in on the behavior. Not cashign hre, but the outcome we like.

The Startup Owner's Manual: The Step-By-Step Guide for Building a Great Company

Startup is an organization in search of a scalable, repeatable and profitable business model.
"Winners also recognize their startup “vision” as a series of untested hypotheses in need of “customer proof.”"
"Customer development is the process to organize the search for the business model."
"To succeed, founders need to turn hypotheses or guesses into facts as soon as possible by getting out of the building, asking customers if the hypotheses were correct, and quickly changing those that were wrong"

New customers.. new products.

"Hiring and spending should accelerate only after sales and marketing have become predictable, repeatable, scalable processes"

Monster: A Tough Love Letter On Taming the Machines that Rule our Jobs, Lives, and Future

Monster: A Tough Love Letter On Taming the Machines that Rule our Jobs, Lives, and Future

You might be up to date with the way technology is advancing. You might have heard of th rise of FANG and experiments like Neuralink. But have you looked at how it has become some one else's job to keep us hooked to our social media devices.
The authors in this book, do that for you. A look at the events, especially how the time it takes for a new technology has gone down. There are comparisions of current overwhelming changes and other decades.
You get a sense of the Moster through the Capital, Psychology and Society lenses.
Some columnists have tried to not use the ubiquitous sites cashing on your activity data, to plug away from the always-on world. Some have researched how this constant being on is changing our brains, its effects on our anxiety.
Few solutions are offered and many unknowns stated. It does show that things have to change.

London's Museums and Galleries: Exploring the Best of the City's Art and Culture (London Guides)

London's Museums and Galleries: Exploring the Best of the City's Art and Culture (London Guides) by Eleanor Ross

Recently I read about a photography museum and was a little surprised about it. But a British Dental Museum. Imagine a toothbrush club.
Cartoon Museum, Cavalry Museum.
Magic in the Moonlight is a movie which reveals the secret about a magician,

Oh wow.. to imagine where Keats wrote La belle dame sans merciA brief history of post-office cats

Transportation museum, Canal Museum, Ice Museum.

Reading the book, you get a sense of the place the museum is located in, its time, London's history, special things about the museum and its collection.

A great way to customise your trip to London by finding out which museums to visit or look at the map in the abck and find out which museums are in the vicinity of the areas you are visiting. if traveling is not an option, consider any online exhibitions or actiivties by the museum. I attended an online event where a curator explained a painting with all the history. It was wonderful.

I am Billie Jean King (Ordinary People Change the World)

I am Billie Jean King (Ordinary People Change the World) by Billie Jean.

Having just read a fiction book, The Mountain, I wanted to read a non-fiction book for the kids. For some reason, they are obsessed about reading on Billie Jean. Recntly they read a library book on her. They are very adept at finding "artist mistakes", if the dresses dont match from page to page, eg the nature of sleeves. They also wnated it to be a video story. This fit the bill.

The Mountain

The Mountain by Rebecca Gugger and Simon Rothlisberger

A bunch of different animals start talking about what they think the mountain is. every alternate page is so much fun, as you have to find the animal, blended into the environment. The illustrator's palette shines here. Eventually they all realise that each has a different view and set out to find the truth.
We took a chance to find out how mountains are formed from scischow kids.
What a beautiful way of showing kids, how same thing can be viewed as differently depending on where we are and how it seems to us.

Machiavelli for Women: Defend Your Worth, Grow Your Ambition, and Win the Workplace

To have power is to be able to
While interpreting Machiavelli is one thing, there seems to be an interest in interpreting Machiavelli for women as shown in:
There is Machiavelli for moms, we will not go into that.

If you are interested in works of Machiavelli with female protagonists who demonstrate the ability to rule a kingdom. Then you are looking for La Mandragola and Clizia.
