Antony and Cleopatra
Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare
Fulvia's interest in politics is reminiscent of Kaikeyi (sing this name in the tune of the song "Informer" song by Snow).
Fulvia's dealing with the power is similar to Haseena Parkar's tryst with accumulated loyalty in need of continuity.
Nay, pray you, seek no colour for your going,

How now, lady!
Switching between texts, I read it as "How now, baby!" which reminded me a modernized Iliad for teens.
CLEOPATRAI would I had thy inches;
You understand the old english in flow but when you try to recall it, you replace it with modern words or grammar.
He's speaking now,
Or murmuring 'Where's my serpent of old Nile?'
I guessed as Zecharia Stitchin suggests that "serpent of Nile" might refer to the form of the Nile.

In Beauty and the Beast story, the prince racing with time for finding a cure for his spell is the main plot and Belle saving him through love is the romantic plot.
Soldiers turning up at the house to take the healer reminds me of the Mummies movie where the boy is carried to be the prince because the phoenix bird chose him.

Novelist as a Vocation
Novelist as a Vocation
The preface for some reason makes me wonder about an author as old as Versatile Saramago or accomplished musician like the Pole, who reflect on their art towards the end and if they feel like they reached the same house they were fleeing in terms of what they began saying. What do writers expect in terms of change in the voice or thoughts throughout their career?
The Cost of Dreams
A dream is like a fever. You can want many things but once you start working towards something, you can run one through the system.
How will our identity change with space exploration?
How has our identitty changed so far with space faring? Moonshot. We now consider ourselves confident in pooling resources to make the unimaginable possible with the moonlanding. With further exploration, selected few have embodied the moonshot mentality. How did frontiers, bus, flight change how peole viewed themselves. Frontier and moonshot mentality in ocean studies with Falkor.
Can animals live in space?
If humans were to live in space, would we have to "Honey I shrunk the kids".
Our tools and our thinking
When Murakami sees the dimming novelistic intelligence from razor's to hatchet's to axe's edge, you can see our stone age and iron age thinking. Whats after space age?
Its interesting the moment, Murakami realised that he could write a novel.
Even the process of writing it first in English, a language he wasnt much familiar in and then translating it back to Japanese was his way of finding his style and infusing the status quo with novelty.

Ideas for writing
Can hot air balloon experiments find something that space agencies cant?
Hypothetical cosmic impact scenarios referred in The Effort
Ablation of meteoroids - melt spraying model
can dust particles cloud the earth
Domino and butterfly effects in space
According to panspermia theory - can we engineer or divert a big meteor to another planet and make the planet livable?
Can we make a close mass to us like moon? asteroid capture
What if someone wants to mimic earlier processes that made moon ie engineer an impact from far and make a moon 2. How will that be inhabited?
How Mars lost its magnetic field and then its oceans
"Without the magnetic field, the solar wind would strip our atmosphere, and the oceans would evaporate and be lost to space."
Climate change effect on earths magnetic field?
"Henrik Svensmark’s (and teams) theory that says that variations in the cosmic radiation reaching the Earth depend on the strength of the Sun’s magnetic field and that this radiation contributes to creating aerosols, thereby variations in the cloud formation. Solar storms contribute to temporarily strengthening the Earth’s magnetic field."

The Collected Sonnets of William Shakespeare, Zombie
This is the CXXX sonnet written about a Z in the book
Definitely does make your Roman numerals revision right? Thats 130.
My twist
to
its no grey matter there..
Sonnet 29 recited by Dame Judi Dench I cracked open my other world colored complete shakespeare book and now I can say that I read atleast one sonnet of it. I think I know now, that I just need others to read it out loud first.
Amie Bjorklund mused about how Romeo Juliet seems different each time you read it. Over the years, you end up liking different characters. Ironically while Dench recalled the sonnet elegantly, Bjorklund said she couldnt recall any of her favorite lines. In Shakespeare fandom, there is a place for every one, even if your memory is good or not.

The Backyard Bird Chronicles
The Backyard Bird Chronicles by Amy Tan
" I have to carry a thousand pieces in an increasing complex configuration toward the luminous vision of a story that remains a mirage" - Amy Tan
I wish we get a view into the thousand pieces from any author. In the end we are a sum of our wonders.
Having read The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, I was excited about The Backyard Bird Chronicles book by her when I heard of it in this video.

Drawing spider webs to deflect bird collision. Spiders have learned to build a UV visible web for birds so they know its a sign to not ruin their hard work.
How to cool hummingbird nectar in hot weather? Who knew that it was bad for them to have it hot or that it can get so hot.
Handwritten and llustrated notes pulse with bird life.
Birds taste buds and sensing abilities.
"New Bird tachycardia" when you see a new bird. I had this recently with Cayuga ducks.
Apart from the anthropomorphization, there's lot of humor in the book. Amy's Bistro. Breaking news. Even a who-dunnit which shows you how to write.
The bird voice-box synrinx, a true evolutionary novelty.

The Challenge of an Equestrian statue
Who all hold the Key to the City for your city?
While Equestrian statue is different from equine statue - " A full-sized equestrian statue is a difficult and expensive object for any culture to produce" made me wonder. But as you see the statues, you understand the big job on the two hind legs of the horse. I could imagine the statues toppling off if the balance is not right.
I was curious how Clark Mills made the equestrian statue without much prior knowledge. Are there any courses that help you appreciate the difficulty in making a bronze equestrian sculpture on hind legs. Clark Mills studied a horse
