1. Both these poems below have their first lines as a rephrase of their titles. As if it were a question- answer response type or title standing out as something that came into place after the poem has happened.

In Sketching for poets, robert hass talks of a corner as an inspiration for a poem.

I didnt enjoy this book as well as other Donald Hall books like 'Unpacking the boxes'.
'Apples peaches' poem is the authors reflection on the time left to him.
'What we did', 'Searching','The Gardener', 'The Offspring','Freezes and Junes' - all meditations on the authors wife, posthumous birthday celebration like.
'Rics progress' is a long poem with a movie story and follows the life of characters to the fag end of it.
'Envy'- author envies his pet's granted euthanasia.
'Maples'- leaves the reader with a strong image of the solitary landscape.

Scents
One day outside the office was a Japanese lady, a visitor. She was a perfume bottle.
The Chicken Biryani, on the last day of monthly special looked eye candy with its trio of colours and had the fragrance of a perfume.
In 'Kahn', poet C K Williams, a protege of Kahn refers to his unbuilt masterworks. Will someone like Eugene Schieffelin try to build these works as restoration of the past.
