Relax-a-bye Baby: A bedtime guide to help your little one relax and sleep tight

'Relax-a-bye Baby: A bedtime guide to help your little one relax and sleep tight' written by Mimi summers and illustrated by Dana Theveneau uses 'body scan' technique to help the baby go to sleep, with steps that make him/her appreciate and thank the body. The lyrics rhyme. The illustrations have a lot of colour with very few lines and objects befitting the winding down for a good night sleep. Since the book is not just read-aloud but act along, but like the shavasana in yoga, it is an easy, calming read. The book is too long, so you shouldnt need to read all of it. With time, one it becomes a practice, it will be easier to fall asleep, just like meditation gets easier with practice.
The body scan technique can be used even while bathing, so kids will learn naming the body parts and become familiar with the getting to bed routine.

Almost hypochondriac

As soon as I opened the package,I was amazed at the size of the doll. I saw the 'Try me' pointing to the stethescope. A gentle press led to a disco throb. The sick baby doubles as a beautiful doll as well as a great baby who knows whats wrong with her and asks the little mommy/doctor leading questions so she can be nursed back to feeling better. I didnt recognise the ear thermometer when I saw it. In that matter, the packaging was good with names of each of the instrument that the little doctor will need to make the baby feel better. I hadnt expected the sick baby's face to go red with fever. Luckily the insert had instructions on how to heal the baby with the medicine. Your little doctor can provide cure on the go with all his/her instruments that fit well into the doctor bag.
The sick baby talks in full sentences and struggles with words like stethescope and tongue depressor. A fun game that will teach the kids about identifying problems and solving them.

Play Doh Sweet Shoppe Mountain Playset

Have you played the online game where on an assembly you can choose all things that go on to make your cake. This is a good way to get hands on with all your design ideas for wonderful cakes.
My toddler and her friend had fun playing with this cake set. The cake pop press works very well. the same cannot be said of the main layer cake molds by pressing on the top. But if you use the mold independently to make the cake, you can get the cake to release decently. The molds on the sides of the cake yield very cute, tiny croissants, bows, shells. I had fun too making the perfect shaped things. The trick is knowing the exact amount of play dough to put in to the press, so it releases without any overhang. For toddlers, the frosting squeezer is a good way to exercise their motor skills. The softer play doh is really that.
