In 'Radiation Biology of Medical imaging', author Charles A Kelsey, slowly builds up the readers awareness with the field of radiation for medical purposes, by explaining the effects of radiation on cells and the various models used to measure that.
After reading the book, a reader will clearly know how a cancer cell is different from a normal cell. The subheadings under 'The Characteristics of Cancer cells' provide the reader with a very good understanding of that difference. The book has a clear approach to increasing the reader's body of understanding on how radiation has different effects on different parts of the body.
Tables, graphs and pictures enhance the learning process and the technical aspects of the science and experiments of radiation exposure.
