The cover seems so familair

The above words are beautiful. The language works.
The tight poetry of some of the poems n soldier in lines paras wasnt inviting. Space, you are so essential.
Landscape with figures partially erased makes bold statements where we just try to grapple what memory does to us, the poet portrays our part in it too. Like The simile of wild carrot, you can feel the texture of the poem too. In an ad on TV about Mesa Market place swap meet, a lady is shown painting a huge carrot on easel and I wonder what makes  a person paint an ordinary object on such a large scale. Still life but also large. And if she were to know this poem, she might just shudder.
