While reading " In the course of almost thirty years it has made a good start on the enormous task .. "(pg x) of Mortimer J. Adler's "Six Great Ideas", the combinatin of the long time and the huge effort implied in the words, stretched my memory, to recall a lunch I had in China at Shanghai Univeristy of Finance and Economics. More than the the food or its taste, the introduction to this event is in the currency conversion of its price to dollars and its worth.
Thinking of ideas like beauty, I am reminded of a narrow but tall room at Museum of Modern Art, NY, closer to one of the cafes.
