The Forests and Gardens of South India has a list of telugu names of trees.
1.Bauhinia racemosa or Are chettu or sonpatta referring to the tradition of exchanging leaves on Dussehra. It is also used in making Slow match
2. Aggi mida guggilam is an idiom in Telugu. Now I understand what it means. Guggilam is Boswellia glabra tree. aggi is fire. So the idiom 'aggi mida guggilam' refers to adding fuel to the fire.

5. Canthium Parviflorium or balisu. Reminds me of bathikunte balisaku aina thinocchu which translates if you manage out alive you can live on the spare seeming leaves of this tree.
