The first and only horse that I ever got on was called Rani. This was in Nainital, a very memorable as it was my first trip during undergrad. I was asked to tag along on this trip only because I am fun to talk to. It was my seniors who asked me to go with them. The horse was stopped on a slightly inclined hill and I was lying close to the horse. Later on, I have learned that you should sit as straight as possible to avoid 'dismounting with style'.
I have seen stables around. My kids have been on horse walks at a kids party place.
Whats this about girls secret and horses?



Probably Rani is still keeping that secret.

Sorakaya Biryani

Yesterday I had to make a rice dish as we had a friend over. It being a weekday and with only a sorakaya - opo squash in my metal garden, I wondered if there is a way to make it special. Usually non-vegetarian is for special occasion or weekends.

How to make vegeterian special. We made eggs the day before. I searched for sorakaya biryani and followed this procedure. Now sorakaya has a hallowed status in our house. I ran out of basmati rice and had to use sona masoori rice. The effect could have been more pronounced with the right rice. Every experimental chef's sinking feeling, that the experiment is butst - mine was when the rice seemed so tiny and uncooked but in no time, it cooked very well, not fluffy like basmati but the flavor of the spices stealed the show.

If you have to cook somethign ordinary or on a week day, lok for some fantastic recipe that will give your ordinary veggie a make over as well as let you have fun in cooking up a treasure.

Only when you surmount a challenge, do you feel its worth it.
I heard some not good news, so instead of going to the customary Toastmasters, I headed to the gym, to clear the head. Thanks to it, I was ready for another not so good news after it.
I gripped the elliptical too hard, rnough to shrivel a layer in the pl. Its all good now.
A 1hour elliptical is what I used to do 13 years ago, whenever I can redo that, I feel great.
