If our eyesight was very good, would we talk? My child responded to a question with a nod, so the expectation would have been that I was watching her, but I wasnt within the earshot. I just did that. Nodded for an aswer. My defense, I was eating. Do we use gestures only when we cannot speak?

If its worth doing

Barbara Hagerty in Life reimagined says that her father believed that somethings are worth doing poorly, regarding learning something new - French in this case. He stuck at it, even if he didnt improve.
I started learning at a pottery center. I wasnt doing as well as others who were practising at times other than me. Excuses but I quit something for the first time.
If its worth doing, its worth overdoign reminds me of my little one on the day she was born. I have never seen kids stuff more than one finger in their mouth, until then. Endearing.
"Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well" is a quote by Philip Stanhope,4th Earl of Chesterfield. This is what we grew up on but beign a grown up is deciding what is worth doing, even if poorly. I love to draw, when I am inspired by something. It is not much of talent, but it is a joy to express.

This morning my little one got me a plate full of ivy gourd and said, a present to you. My family knows my love for the ivy gourd. I later followed into the garden to see the whereabouts of the ivy gourd. I didnt know how it grows. Its on a creeper. It is hard to pluck them too as they hide in the kudzu vine.
If I were asked in my childhood about my favorie vegetable, I would have never guessed that one of them would be ivy gourd. It is this, becuase it is not easily found.
I wanted to cook it differently today. usually I chop them into rounds. This time, I cut them lengthwise. I cut the onions too of similar length. It has its distinctive smell and taste. Loved the curry this time too.

One of these days, I saw a kid at school eat one of these and recalled how wonderful these snacks are. Today after waking up from a nap, when I found these on the counter, I became a small kid and enjoyed it.
