Verses of Vemana

While explaining this to my kids that even tiny good deeds can have a great impact, the younger one said that a small stone can have big ripples in a pond.

Whats happening in the cosmos

Alien Earths by Lisa Kaltenegger

How was the first extrasolar planet found in 1995?
"But light and matter interact, .. Signs od life are written in a planet's light - if you know how to read it."

Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets

"Could this banana be an alien?". Maybe a mushroom with 50 words of vocabulary is capable of being one.

Pattern matching when there isnt one.

Imagine dusting off the golden record. If some of us went that way and treat it as a message from aliens. A message to us from us, if we all cant be on the same mailing list.

Wll it be treated like this silver box in Jamestown which was not opened, to prevent any damage that unrevealing of the schrodinger's cat box might cause. Instead it was xrayed.

Aliens Wanted

1. Must be able to compute the time it needs to transition between the lowest and second lowest energy rate at which the golden record is to be played.

2. How would we be prepared to go to space? In hurry, if we had to leave like the cave dwellers, what would we take. How do astronauts prepare themselves to what they come back to and what if they cant.

3. Stowaways to one planet thinking its another.

Gods in the Bazaar: The Economies of Indian Calendar Art (Objects/Histories)

How is culture differenty maintained in a larger country compared to a smaller country?
Does population size have an impact on how the culture is maintained? A study found that in larger populations, there is ahigher chance of gifted learners maintaining the skill, even if it falls into disuse along the way. I saw a lady performing Sandhya Vandanam at the US Mexican border until then I had only seen it in TV. She emigrated from Africa. Migration too has some ant in the amber effect on culture.
I came across the Bazaar art term while trying to undertand the sacred rite that Vishwamitra was trying to perform as well as his vows that prevent him from fighting the demons.

The Effort by Claire Holroyde

The Effort

The scene of the main character on the ship, going wrong way. This could have been added to show that he is in an unfamiliar place and that he is lost in thought or not his self .

Reading how Maya is investigating Jack's scars.. we try to udnerstand the wornness of the blemish.. all writing or art is trying.. not from place of knowing how to write.. but trying to write and see how it works out..

Able to see how research would fit into the writing. When it is about some place where you havent been.

So many forms on ships

Refuse Record book

Now I see why the ship scenes started with a drill. Unique about it.

When is a person declared missing on a research vessel? Expecting logging into a system at required systems is one way. But its possible that someone else signs. Requiring them to come and sign at a place recorded with a video or photo is another way.

Wow, missing and unidentified go hand in hand.

If we were like this glass octopus, we could watch whats going on inside our body and fix ourselves if we wanted to.

The lost twin brother - are all secondary characters either similar or contrast to the surrounding and settings to add more depth to the situation to make it a whole, closed cosmos.
